... If you are like me you 1. SCREAM 2. put her in the soapiest bath you ever have 3. throw out her bumper 4. wash her sheet in HOT water and 5. start TAPING HER DIAPERS! And that folks is how our sunday morning started!

What to do when:
... You walk into your baby's room to find out she has A: unzipped her footsie PJ's B: taken off her POOPY diaper and C: smeared it all over her crib bumper, sheets and HAIR! (Obviously it was on her fingers. She is a finger sucker and I really just don't want to know)...

You are so funny! I cant believe you actually taped her diaper..good idea though!
(Loudly) HA! HA! HA! (and then a little giggle)
I feel your pain! We have been taping Eden's diaper for months now. When we can't find the tape, it is total panic mode. We also put her footies pj's on backwards...which at least prevents them from taking off the jammies. I'm so sorry this happened on Sunday. What a day!
oh no Summer! I hope she didn't suck her fingers...poor baby! Good idea on the tape!
Duct tape... works wonders!
I can't even tell you how much I can relate to that! Taylor did that for a week straight and it's the grossest thing I"ve ever had to deal with! Sorry, hopefully the tape will help!
I'm sorry Summer. What a mess. I bet she'll find a way to get that tape off. For your sake, I hope she doesn't.
You know that Peyton did the same thing. I never did the duck tape. But I think that is a smart call. I think with Peyton she just didn't like to sit in her poop so she took it off. I have learned just to catch her after she poops and clean her up right away. I am sure you were disgusted. Good luck with that friend!!
WHY! is the only question that comes to mind. Quincy did that when she was a baby too. I walked in her room, and she had done all of the above. smeard, thrown and eaten her own shiz. I thought I would die. I never taped the diapers-that's a great idea. I just knew I couldn't put her down without pants on.
NO WAY!! Weston did that for his first time yesterday!! I came in to get him from his nap and he had taken his diaper off and had poop all over his bed. Avaree did this too. Avaree would play with it! So gross!!
It's a right of passage. Congratulations! :)
Oh my gosh! Luckily I have never been through that, but I can only imagine! So are you bringing scissors with you to change diapers now? Yuck, that is nasty!
Oh Summer! I am so sorry! Good thinking though with the tape! I now will know what to do if Haley starts doing that! Thanks!
That is SO GROSS- I'm sure I'll be going through that soon enough! ugh
sick!
Yuck! Michael and Berkley are about the same age, I am going to keep an eye on him. Thanks for the heads up!
oh, the joys of motherhood.
Yucky! I hope I never have to face that one. I like your tape idea though! I'll remember that just in case!
I would throw up. Please don't ever let my kids do that.
I am so sorry. hopefiflly monday is better.
Oh NO! You did exactly what I would have done!
That is too funny. Hope the bumper wasn't an expensive one.
No, he never told me that! Ha! I can sympathize though...I used to pass out EVERY time I got it drawn. Everyone laughed when I said I was going to be a nurse! After many sticks I am somewhat used to it now...but it's definitely not enjoyable...
Cute story by the way...my sis has a boy about the same age and can totally relate!
Smart thinking Sum! I would have never thought to use ducktape! I can't even imagine the yuck. Nothing grosses me out more than POOP!
YUCK Summer I am so sorry. That must have been so traumatizing to walk into that. Poor Berkley... I'm sure she wasn't lovin' it after awhile. Good thought with the tape!
yowza
Ick! Stella did that a few times. I never thought of using tape. This is something you will never forget!
This happened to me only I was driving on the freeway!
That is amazing! The tape thing I guess is the only thing you can do! :) I love it!
The same thing happened to me as a teenager while babysitting for my aunt! Worst thing ever....especially when it's not even your own child! He had painted the walls, mirrors, carpet etc.... I cried!
