Saturday was warm enough to head down to the beach. It was about 70 degrees and perfect. I really can't wait to enjoy it all spring and summer. We are all SO pasty white right now that it felt good to get a little color. The best part for me was seeing Berkley finally get into it. Last summer was a nightmare because she would just crawl around and eat sand. I dreaded going there because I had to trap her in a tent with my legs so she would not get out. Now, she can run around and put her feet in the water and I love it. Here's to a good beach year!

I love that Haven is so fancy! She can't be without that bow - even for the beach. I remember when she was really little running around the sand, and I thought how silly that huge bow looked on her at the beach. But it has totally grown on me. She wouldn't be the same without it!
I think I'm going to be the crazy one at the beach this year with the tent! I thought he would be walking. Not quite though. How am I going to handle it with him? It won't be a very relaxing summer for me. That's alright. I'm not ready to put on the swimsuit anyway! Argh!

Jenny- it is ridiculous with Haven's bow fetish. Now, she freaks out when she can't wear one to bed. Oh but don't worry... I seem to find one on her when I check on her before I go to bed. Silly girl!
P.S. What in the world are you talking about with the mall and dead guy? I am so scared to hear.

very jealous that you'll be at the beach every day....and we'll be pool hopping. the closest thing to the beach is vvl-which is a "wanna be." lol. the kids don't know the diff.

Looks like you guys had a great time....Summer where is the picture of you in a swimsuit? :) I am so not ready for a swimsuit. Brad ended up working a snackbar shift that we weren't scheduled to work...my mistake and now I have to work our real shift next week. Such a bummer. We can't wait to go to the beach with you guys this summer.
Julie- I didn't want to scare everyone with me in my swimsuit. Not ready for bathing suit season yet either. We can't wait for you guys to join us down there either! I always LOVE having your older girls there... especially when they want to play with and entertain my kids! :)

the benefits of living in southern california! i tool my kids to the pool on friday and im totally sunburnt. we will be staying at my moms beach house all weekend so i hope the weather is nice again!

I love three arch bay! It's such a beautiful beach and so fun...but that walk back up those stairs is brutal! :-) Those little matching suits are darling. The Northwest doesn't get that hot in March~Lucky Ducks!

I am laughing...we are totally on the same schedule. I took O to the beach on Sat. too! And Sprinkles? We missed each other by 30 minutes. I am embarrassed I went there 3 times in two days. Next time I will DEFIN call you, as its good to have a treat buddy! I leave tomorrow but will call for sure next time I am in town.
So jealous that you guys are outside in swimsuits, we are thinking that 40 degrees is warm here. Can't wait for sunshine! I wish our kids could play at the beach together. Weston is at a good age for it now too.
I am jealous too! Not for 4 more months for us, darnit! And about the trends, I agree about the high waisted jeans. But then again, I'm usually a few steps behind on the lates trends anyway. I'm sure you can pull it off.
