The Velvet Blazer
Bryan was excited to bring out his infamous velvet blazer this year again. It is one of his favorite holiday get ups. I think it is pretty cute on him too!
SCROOGE
I really love this tradition. It has been going on for more than 40 years in our family. Grandma and Grandpa Garlock get us all tickets to see "A Christmas Carol" at the Glendale Center Theatre. For some reason all of us cousins have always called it "Scrooge". It is my favorite that we all know it by that. Haven and Berkley were great and loved watching it. Miss August on the other hand was walking the halls with me and Bry most of the time. Still SO fun! A great memory!

CHRISTMAS PROGRAMS!
Today we had both Haven and Berkley's Christmas programs! Haven's was first and it was DARLING! Haven got to welcome all the parents out and introduce the show. She was nervous and didn't want to do it but came through!
They sang 5 songs and recited 5 poems!
And then ended with Rudolph wearing cute red noses!
The families went back to the classroom after for a small holiday reception with treats!

Right after... we had Berkley's show! They were adorable and sang jingle bells!
I am SO glad Bryan got to come to both! I know the girls appreciated it!

FIRST SANTA VISIT!
Little August was happy...
...And so were Haven and Berkley!
Then right before we were up, August started to get scared...
and once placed on Santa's lap she got even more scared!
But after... content again!
Oh man! What a drama queen!

CHRISTMAS PAJAMA PARTY!
The girls had a blast at our church Christmas Party! And since I helped put it on, I'm relieved it's over and that there was a good turn out! 250 people... not too shabby!

The kids (and many adults) came in their PJ's and we had breakfast for dinner. After that we spread blankets out and read them The Polar Express. Dave was darling and dressed up like the Conductor with the stop watch and all. After the story the kids were given bells and had to sing loud if they wanted Santa to come. It was a fun night!

Favorite things party!
These two cute gals hosted a wonderful night of gift giving and laughs! There were SO many fun ideas this year! I can't wait to go buy some of the great treasures that were shared!

And my heart melted when she said...
"Mom- all I want for Christmas is you. Do you think Dad could wrap you up in a bow and give you to me?" I then laughed and told her she was cute for saying that. Then my curiosity asked why she wanted me! To which she replied:
"I don't really care about toys. All I care about is my family."
I LOVE YOU SWEET HAVEN!

CONCERT X2!
Last night we got to see Haven in her OCMCO Christmas performance! It was AMAZING! I am so impressed with this organization and hope all my girls can be involved these years to come! The Sunbeam choir sounded fantastic and not one child sounded off key. Way to go Haven!

After Haven's concert I brought my mom to see David perform live at The Grove in Anaheim. He sang some of his pop songs and then the latter part of the show was all Christmas. The kid is a TRUE talent. He gets better and better. I could listen to his voice forever and not tire! It was a fabulous end of an evening. And I think my mom really enjoyed herself!
BLACK FRIDAY!
Most people HATE the crowds and commotion that come along with BLACK FRIDAY. But- not me! I love the hustle and bustle of it all. I got some GREAT deals! The stores that were conquered were Kohls, Walmart, Old Navy, Target, H&M, Sport Chalet, Sears, Aaron Brothers, Michaels, Naartjie, Janie and Jack, Children's Place and Pottery Barn. The best sale was at H&M. I got lots of things for $2.50! They were practically giving things away for free. I was exhausted by the end of the day. I went to bed at 1:00 and then woke up at 4:30 to beat the crowds. Jen Bourne came with me and we went for 6.5 hours until 11:00 am. Took a break for me to nurse and went back out for another 2 hours. CRAZY but FUN! I can't wait to wrap it all now. I love wrapping!
