Big Bear

Living in Orange County is great! But the kids do want to see the snow at least once a year. That is when we pack and head up to Big Bear for a couple days. We lucked out again this year with perfect weather and lots of snow. We went with The Packers and the kids all got along great! It was amazing how they all entertained themselves in the snow all day. We saw "Rango" and ate at our favorite breakfast spot called Grizzly Manor. We ended the trip playing in the Packer's front yard on bikes while enjoying the wonderful almost spring weather!

Duct Tape Dance

Bryan and I got a new calling to be in charge of our youth stake dances at church. Our first one was a success with lots of fun kids and no problems. It was amazing to see all the fun ideas and how everyone got into it. All the work payed off and we couldn't be happier!

Sara

This picture brings me much comfort and happiness.
A few weeks ago one of Berkley's little friends passed away.
Her service was beyond BEAUTIFUL and very SPECIAL!

I have never been more grateful for eternal families.
This has taken me awhile to blog because I have not known exactly what to write. Having this experience in our ward family has connected all of us and made us closer to one another and God. My faith has grown tremendously and I see things different now. I am no longer afraid of death. I feel at peace that Sara is in a better place and that she is not in pain anymore. She was a PERFECT spirit. I am a better person because of a 4 year old girl. I love and admire this family more than anything. I think that losing a child is one of the biggest trials on earth. These parents are examples to me of Courage, Faith and Trust. They are truly remarkable people!

Google Man!

Marc Hemeon the genius sold his company to Google a few weeks ago! We are SO proud of him. A celebration was in order. The Hemeons treated us to The Counter for the BEST build your own burgers and fries! It was a night full of laughs and fun! Congrats Marc!

Kids...

I love the saying that you can't live with them and you can't live with out them! My house seems to always be a mess. Someone always seems to be in time out. One of the girl's is always hungry. A diaper is dirty every time I turn around. A fight is being broken up every 60 minutes. But on the flip side... my messy house means my girls are having fun and playing. I love that I get to prepare healthy meals and snacks and watch these girls grow. I adore that I still have a little one to wear diapers and I would love to keep her a baby. A fight may be broken up every 60 minutes but the other 59 they are so sweet and loving to each other. I am finding so much JOY in raising these kids. They are the most silly, fun and adorable things I could have ever imagined. I can't picture my life with out them! Everyday with them is an adventure! One that I am loving!

American Girl Store

We took the kids to The American Girl Store to celebrate Haven and Reese's Birthday. My mom gave them new dolls for their special day so we took them up to get their ears pierced (the dolls) and pick out a new outfit. That place is so much fun! I love going there. We ate dinner at The Farmers Market and then got a cake from Magnolia Bakery which was out of this world!!! The banana pudding was incredible too. A must try for sure!

Lake Chateau Tulips 2011

Our tulip day was last saturday and went great! Bryan is always so helpful with the planting. Let's be honest... he does all the planting! He is amazing and has a green thumb! He always teases how he does all the work and then I get to do all the partying after. We always end with a luncheon and this time we had it at my mom's house in Laguna Beach. We just couldn't pass up the 75 degree weather in January. I ordered Cafe Rio for lunch and then we headed down to the beach for the rest of the afternoon and chatted and chatted and chatted on the sand. It was wonderful and these ladies are some of the funniest, smartest and classiest around. I LOVE them all! We can't wait for our tulips to bloom! Then we shall celebrate again! I think we just look for excuses to get together.
