Fave things

Thanks Kiks for throwing a fun GNO favorite things party and getting me out when I wasn't feeling very good. And more importantly... thanks MAMA for showing off your infamous splits to make me laugh harder than I have in awhile. Between that and your Bachelor commentary... you stole the show!

Sea World

Berkley had her Sea World field trip yesterday. I took Haven out of school since it was "educational" and only $5.75 to get in. The weather was perfect and the crowds were slim to none. Some of the highlights were: touching starfish, enjoying a sea lion show, watching a flamingo parade, the penguin exhibit and of course the shark tank. We also got to see a new Elmo 3d movie about being under the sea. It was a great time but I felt exhausted by days end! I have realized I can only do theme parks for 3-4 hours at a time. Enough time for the kids to have fun. Just before everyone gets tired and has breakdowns.

Bon Jovi

We had such a great time at the Bon Jovi concert last night! He put on an amazing show! He still has the same voice after 27 years of singing. It was perfect and on key every song. Richie Sambora was great too. He did more changes than Jon Bon. Mostly with hats! Bryan and I thought it was hilarious. We had so much fun. Mostly just being together. What a excellent date night!

Hand me downs

One of the good things about having girls plural are the hand me downs. Berkley picked out this old babystyle dress to wear to pre-school today. While trying to find a picture of something else... I stumbled across a picture of Haven wearing it years ago. I had to get a good laugh in that Berkley is a whole year older and just now fitting into it. It's even a little big. I guess that is what happens when you aren't even on the charts for your height and weight. My poor little Bumble B still just weighs in at 24 pounds. Here's to some more avocados and milk shakes Berkley! You're almost fitting into your size 2T clothes!

Snow

We were able to enjoy a great weekend at grandma and grandpa's cabin with the Barbers. The kids played in the snow from morning until night. They built snowmen, went sledding and had snow ball fights. Haven especially got really into it. She was a daredevil and wanted to sled off jumps. At night we watched movies & the olympics, ate popcorn and played games. Sunday morning... we even woke up to a beautiful snowfall. It was a lot of fun!

More celebrations

Nicole's dad had a small birthday dinner for her at Katsuya in L.A. We sat right next to Nicolette Sheridan from Desperate Housewives. But more importantly... the food was some of the best I've ever had! I understand why there is so much hype behind it. I highly recommend this place.

Little Boschetti's Birthday

Kendra was able to come down for a visit and we met up with Nicole to celebrate her birthday! We had a great time eating at Opah. After dinner Kendra got asked to go sing with the house band. She was AWESOME! The band then made Nicole and I dance. It was rather embarrassing but a night we will never forget. These two girls are the best!
