I found out about this from my brother... Supposidely Gladys Knight introduced Snoop Dogg to the Church. She took him to an LDS meeting house in LA where he was interested in more and is now reading the Book Of Mormon. It was on CNN but yesterday (April 1). Do you think it could be for real? Click here for the article and tell me what you think. The best line is:
“I was hooked from the start,” Snoop Dogg said. “We talked about the purpose of life, played Mousetrap, and ate brownies. The kids thought it was off the hook, for real.”

Summer, could this be true? I read the article and feel so skeptical about it but if it was true that would so funny and crazy. Please write CNN an email demanding the truth!

Totally a hoax. The CNN address isn't correct. It was a joke, but probably the best one I have heard. Whoever wrote the article knew their stuff, so it sounded pretty believable!

when brian was on his mission in Arkansas, he gave MC Hammer a Book of Mormon. He has the picture...this is hilarious. That'd be super cool, who knows???

Sum - of course YOU would think it was real. You also think that if you and Britney could just "spend some quality time together" she would see the error of her ways! What a great joke! Again, Ummm, Hello, April 1st anyone? Not in a million years would Snoop give up his pot-smoking, gun-toting, gangsta loving, baby mama-ing ways even if he did get "hooked" reading the Book of Mormon. Great joke though!
And of course he ate "brownies" for FHE! :)
P.S. I didn't mean you believing was a bad thing. You are truly the optimist and always trying to find the decent goodness in everyone. I am too much of a realist. It's probably because my dad would come home every night and talk about all the "bad guys" he was trying to put in jail!
I just looked it up...Snoop Dog is NOT Mormon. It was an April fool's joke!!!!
