Saw it

Bryan and I went and saw "The Other Boleyn Girl" last night and I would only recommend it because the story is based on true characters during the time of King Henry.  However, we left hating almost every character and feeling sad.  It is a tragic story.  The message is a good one that striving for POWER and money simply do not bring happiness.  It can be so destructive and that is basically what happens by the end of the movie.  I think next time I will see "Definitely, maybe".  I like to laugh and see light hearted movies most of the time.

Speaking of watching things that make me laugh and are light hearted.  I am so into these people on TV right now:

"Christian" from Project Runway!

"David Archuleta" from American Idol

And I LOVE this series and highly recommend it.  It is very entertaining.

i enjoy the music - should I have music? I was always concerned about people opening my blog @ work & blaring music starting and then they get fired...but there is such thing as a mute button. hmmmm

I love David Archuleta too... and the story about him losing one of his vocal chords a few years back-or something like that-amazing how good he is!:)

I read the book and it was soooo good and I can't wait to see the movie. I teach about king henry VIII and I am so intrigued by him. The book is probably much better. Even though it is historical fiction, I hope it does stay somewhat true to real life!

I absolutely love that anti-bacterial products come before your husband and kids! I watched the last couple Project Runways last night. Christian is FIERCE! ;) Are we going to have a finale party here on the big screen next week? David A. Is really good, but I still kind of feel like it's not fair to have most of the people in the top 20 already have had a chance at stardom and failed. Him included...

Christian is my favorite by far. I love that he says fierce all the time and his clothes are always awesome! I don't dig the hair though. He probably spend three times the amount of time I spend doing mine!

Love the new blog! I'm glad you are back. I took a couple of weeks off too. I've been anxious to see The Other Boyelyn Girl because my book club read it and loved it but I never read it. Too bad it wasn't better. I'm not so anxious now...

Obsessed with Christian from P.R. I've loved since the commercials before the season even started. He's so fierce. I also adore David.
