Patrick!

This St. "Patrick's" Day I will be dedicating to my favorite Patrick...Patrick Swayze!  In my opinion, Dirty Dancing is one of the best movies of all time!  My thoughts are with his family as they recently announced he is battling pancreatic cancer.

So sad for Patrick! I LOVE the song you have going on your sidebar in honor of him! Thank you for reminding me of dirty dancing today, it is a great movie and I love what "ek family" said... best quote.

Your post has left me with "Hungry Eyes."

Oh man I had the biggest crush on him when I was like 8! I loved that movie! I even named one of my Ken dolls after him hahaha! So sad about his cancer :(

I used to watch that movie over and over when I was little (why my mom allowed that, I don't know...) and pretend I was "Baby." My mom bought me the soundtrack and I listened to it constantly. I still like to think that "Baby" and Patrick's character are somewhere growing old together.

I can't handle the picture with the song! It brings back way too many memories. I died laughing last time I watched it thinking of watching it with you and Brooke. Those were the days!!

My all time fav too!! When that last song comes on I crank the volume & sing it at the top of my lungs and of course rewind and watch it about 3 more times. I am obsessed. Darren laughs at me!

I fell asleep to Road House last night. Does that count?

I wasn't allowed to watch it as a kid, so I'd sneak into my parents room and lay under their bed to watch it on their TV.

One of my faves...
